Church History
In 1949, a small group from First Baptist Church, Albuquerque started meeting with the desire to start a new church in the Bel Air community. In 1951, we constituted as Bel Air Baptist Church. With a vibrant community of believers, we outgrew our facility and found ourselves landlocked. In 1967, we moved to our current location and changed our name to Del Norte Baptist Church to identify with our new location.
Today, Del Norte engages our ever-changing neighborhood as we continue to worship in a renovation of our 1967 worship center. Though our facilities have changed and expanded over the years, our mission to reach our community remains unwavering. Our legacy is the influence of faithfulness being passed down through multiple generations.
Biblical Purpose Statement
Guided by God's Word, Del Norte Baptist Church is a united community of believers worshiping God, growing in faith, and sharing Christ's love.

Vision Statement
We see a day when Del Norte Baptist Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is propelled by God's Word to:

Become a multigenerational and multicultural community serving together to impact our world with the Gospel.

Raise up all generations to participate in the worship of God and to be lifelong followers of Jesus.

Build intergenerational relationships as we live life together.

Provide dynamic ministries that strengthen families and invest in individuals (children, youth, college, and adults).
